SACRED TEXTS

It someyimes believed that sacred texts contain everything that is to know. That is a misconception as the main role of mankind is to add to the knowledge, to advanced and to create as intended by the universal energetical force Sofia, that is wisdom. In order to live into the universe, in order to survive we have to evolve and gain knowledge to understand it.

It is not enough to live by its law but to improve according to these laws.

ABOUT SAPIENS

In his book Sapiens, Yuval Harari develops a theory to understand the human evolution through its capacity to collaborate in large numbers. He says that humans are the only mammals capable of this. But, for this cooperation to take place there must be a story to unite the forces of man; his brain capacity as well as his muscles.

He puts it all on this account. He calls them here and there imagined realities. And such they are but Harari is somewhat superficial in his suggestion that one day the hunter gatherer woke up and decided to form large communities and thought oh well, the story seems to have all that it takes to keep this communities together and to make them not only functional but also productive.

I consider that this is a bit like looking at a complex matter from afar without seeing the details. All that he says about the power of imagined realities of holding communities together and making them functional, is true, but the appearance of such stories I do not think it is the solely attribute of hunter gatherer or the Agricultural revolution. These stories pre-existed, and they made it possible the development of mankind.

 Incep azi acest blog ca un fel de jurnal personal. Am ascultat azi un discurs Oprah Winfrey, foarte inspirational si motivational. In fond atat de simplu si adevarat. Totul e posibil atata timp cat exista cunoasterea de sine precum si increderea in potentialul infinit al propriei fiinte.

Dar cunoasterea de sine nu e un lucru usor si nu vine dintr-o data. Decantarea intre ceea ce candva se numea masca si acum se numeste programare e un proces uneori anevoios. De cele mai multe ori ceea ce credem ca este personalitatea noastra, respectiv dorinta noastra este de fapt un set de gandiri induse de intamplari sau oameni din viata noastra. Peste toate acestea se suprapune societatea in care traim si care ne influenteaza. Dar nu suntem asta, doar ca la un moment dat traim ca si cum am crede ca suntem. Ceea ce suntem cu adevart e mai adanc in noi si poate fi scos la iveala, sau lasat sa se manifeste.

Atunci cand vedem ca ceva nu mai merge ca ne impingem cu greu in existenta de zi cu zi inseamna ca noi din launtrul nostru vrem sa iesim, sa fim. Si atunci e bine sa luam o pauza de la jocul care nu mai este in totalitate al nostru, sa incercam privirea inlauntrul nostru si sa vedem comoara din noi.
